2:00 pm - Concert with The Brasiles Ensemble

Join us for another concert on the library lawn! Performing a special selection of their “greatest hits”, The Brasiles Ensemble will perform an educational variety of vocal a cappella music ranging from classical, sacred, early, folk, jazz and pop. Members of the group will be performing an hour’s worth of pieces along with giving facts and history about each composer and genre of music being spotlighted, including 2-4 original pieces written by two members of the group. This concert is made possible, in part, through the Putnam Art Council’s Arts Link Grant Program with public funds provided through the NY State Council on the Arts with support form the Governor’s office and the NY State Legislature. Registration is requested but not required.
