Digital Literacy Afternoon: Getting the Most Out of Your Library Card With Digital Services

June 12 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Thousands of ebooks, audiobooks, films, TV shows, music, and more are at your fingertips with your library card! Together, we’ll explore library services like Libby, Hoopla, and Kanopy, and see how easy it is to access a world of material through the library. We’ll even see how library services can help you learn a new language, craft, or job skill, look for a job, find genealogical information, and access trusted health information.

Please note: This event requires at least three attendees to run. If fewer than three participants have registered within 48 hours of the event, it will be postponed and participants will be notified via email. Registration opens 30 days before the start of the event.

A Digital Literacy Afternoon Workshop Series program: in these friendly, introductory courses, participants will learn the basics of various digital tools in a welcoming and supportive environment, geared towards seniors or other newcomers to the devices, programs, or issues in question.
