The Food Scrap Recycling Committee and the Town of Philipstown are excited to launch the 2022 Food Scrap Recycling Pilot Program beginning Memorial Day Weekend. Join this informational meeting to learn;
– how you too can participate and recycle (compost) your food scraps.
– how to get your own starter kit,
– what food and materials can go into the drop-off bins, and
– drop-off bin location and hours.

We hope you will join us in the fight against climate change by wasting less food and recycling (composting) your food scraps rather than throwing them into the trashcan (landfill).
Note: There are a limited number of starter kits, they can be purchased at Town Hall starting May 16 and the kits can be picked up on Saturday, May 21.
