The Friends of the Desmond-Fish Public Library are pleased to announce the upcoming Annual Martin-Luther King Jr. Day, family concert.
This year the event will be held online, on Crowdcast. We are delighted to have the musical duo Gwen Laster and Damon Banks with us this year!

DAMON BANKS on bass, is a composer, producer, and educator. He is a “World Musician” in the truest sense of the term. Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, Damon Banks has performed with and/or recorded with some of the international entertainment industry’s brightest stars, creative artists, and innovative musicians throughout his career.
GWEN LASTER on violin, is also a composer and has enjoyed playing the New York City club scene, in Broadway orchestras, and with many musical greats including Wadada Leo Smith, Anthony Braxton, Nona Hendryx, Aretha Franklin, and Natalie Cole, and many others. She is the creator of many musical collaborations and educational opportunities.
