3:00 pm - Librarian’s Choice Book Club

April 24 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Have you ever wanted to be a part of a book club? Are you curious about what your favorite librarians are reading? Join us every fourth Wednesday for our Librarian’s Choice Book Club. Each month, one of our librarians will choose a different book from a different genre and host a casual discussion with light refreshments.

For the Month of April, our Digital Services Librarian, Ryan, has chosen Ariel by Sylvia Plath. Copies are available at the front desk. Attendees may either read the original release of Ariel or Ariel: The Restored Edition.

PLEASE REGISTER HERE.

About the Book:
When Sylvia Plath died, she not only left behind a prolific life but also her unpublished literary masterpiece, Ariel. Her husband, Ted Hughes, brought the collection to life in 1966, and its publication garnered worldwide acclaim. This collection showcases the beloved poet’s brilliant, provoking, and always moving poems, including “Ariel” and once again shows why readers have fallen in love with her work throughout the generations.
