Join Matt Sherwin and Tara Bahna-James for fun songs that’ll get your hands clapping and toes tapping! Recommended for children of all ages. Registration required.
MATT SHERWIN is a musician and songwriter with over three decades of experience performing for grown-ups and kids alike. As a singer-songwriter, he has appeared in venues including Joe’s Pub, Pianos and The Bitter End. As a teaching artist with Brooklyn Academy of Music and Lincoln Center Theater, he has worked with students from elementary through high school. For two years, he led sing-a-long sessions with the New York Public Library. He is excited to be leading the Desmond-Fish Library sing-a-long with Tara Bahna-James, with whom he’s been singing since high school. Enjoy!
TARA BAHNA-JAMES is a writer, performer, educator, mom, and native New Yorker. Tara has been a teaching artist at TADA! Youth Theater, a vocal coach at Buck’s Rock Performing & Creative Arts Camp, and a performer with The Yellow Finch Project, a local theater company serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Tara’s original musicals have been performed in Minneapolis and throughout the New York area. Huge thanks to the Desmond-Fish library for welcoming us!
