1:00 pm - Mermaid Parade at the Summer Reading Kickoff!

Gather all your shimmery wearables, and tell all your friends: we’re having a Mermaid Parade at the library! Join us for a celebration of art, acceptance, and sea-themed fun! Participants are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite underwater creature or fantastical mer-folk. During the library’s Summer Reading Kickoff from 12pm-1pm, come decorate a glamourous accessory to go along with your ocean outfit. At 1pm, we’ll parade our fabulous costumes around the library grounds. Afterwards, take a photo with your friends in our mermaid photobooth! Celebrate unity and friendship as we begin our summer “All Together Now!”
