THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO LACK OF REGISTRATIONS
Do you love Minecraft? Are you looking to develop your skills and learn the basics of coding and engineering? Minecraft Code Red teaches coding and engineering principles to students in grades 4+ through Redstone projects and contraptions.
In this Minecraft workshop, you’ll learn to use Redstone blocks to make detector devices, starting with a daylight sensing door that closes at nighttime to keep your secret base safe! We will also create a physical version of the mechanism in real life, showing how sensors work, and how they can trigger wider actions in a device.
Please note that this is a guided workshop, not free play, and is generally not suitable for children under the suggested age range (grades 4+), or who have difficulty in structured classroom settings.
This program is limited to ten participants in grades 4+. Please note: This event requires at least three attendees to run. If fewer than three participants have registered within 48 hours of the event, it will be postponed and participants will be notified via email. Registration opens 30 days before the start of the event.
