Join educator Jackie Grant for Nature Play the Tinkergarten Way! This open-ended, child-led, sensory program gets kids outside and combines early learning science with timeless wisdom about nature and childhood.
The spring season theme is Empathy. We’ll help kids build strong roots in empathy, our human superpower. Kids will learn to recognize emotions in themselves and others, explore taking another’s perspective, and discover fun, new ways to care for each other and the planet.
For children ages 2-6 with an adult. Registration required. Please register each child individually. Registration begins 30 days in advance of the program. Each week, the Friday and Saturday classes will cover the same material. Please choose the day that works best for you each week. If you are bringing a sibling outside of the targeted age range (2-6 years), please register them if they are over 16 months old. Each family is asked to bring a “nest,” a blanket to sit on outside and water to drink.
