Paw Pals-Read to a Dog

Sit, stay, read! Join us for an opportunity to read to one of the therapy dogs from Hudson Valley Paws for a Cause. For many children, reading out loud can be stressful. But reading to a dog can provide them a chance to improve their readings skills with a non-judgmental listener. For children in grades Kindergarten and up. Each child will be allotted fifteen minutes of reading time. Space is limited and registration is required. This program will be inside and is subject to the library’s masking policy.
