What’s better than reading poetry? Sharing your favorite poems with friends and neighbors! What’s better than sharing your favorite poems with friends and neighbors? Sharing your favorite poems with friends and neighbors while eating snacks at the Library!
This year, One Poem a Day Won’t Kill You (the Library’s daily National Poetry Month celebration) invites you to bring one or more of your favorite poems to read, discuss, and share with other poetry lovers (poems should be previously published and not your own work). Attendees will have the option to record themselves reading their poems for release on a special podcast episode at the end of National Poetry Month.
Don’t know what to read? Stop by the Circulation Desk and pick up a different “pocket poem” each day in April!
