Who We Are
The Friends of the Desmond-Fish Public Library is a volunteer-run membership-based organization who support the Library’s mission to serve everyone in the community through quality programs, collections, and community building opportunities!
The Friends of the DFPL are a fun and diverse group of community members who are dedicated to supporting the library and our community. We sponsor regular fundraisers for the library including our annual Book and Media sale.
Funds raised at these events and through our membership dues, directly support the Library’s circulating collections, as well as regularly scheduled library programs for kids and special community events throughout the year.
Friends Membership
Please consider joining the Friends of the DFPL or renewing your membership today. Memberships can be purchased at the library circulation desk, at the door for book sale events, or online.
Your annual membership includes exclusive access to Friends-sponsored events like the annual Friends of the Library Party and our Book and Media Sale Opening Night Preview.

Book and Media Donations
Book and media donations are now closed. Donation periods for forthcoming sales, when available, will be announced here on our website, on social media, or in the Library newsletter. Thank you for not leaving your unsolicited donations at the library outside of donation periods.
