Who We Are

The Friends of the Desmond-Fish Public Library is a volunteer-run membership-based organization who support the Library’s mission to serve everyone in the community through quality programs, collections, and community building opportunities!

The Friends of the DFPL are a fun and diverse group of community members who are dedicated to supporting the library and our community. We sponsor regular fundraisers for the library including our annual Book and Media Sale each August.

Funds raised at these events and through our membership dues, directly support the Library’s circulating collections, as well as regularly scheduled library programs for kids and special community events throughout the year.
