The Desmond-Fish Public Library is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational organization chartered by the State of New York.
Contributions to the Desmond-Fish Public Library are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
The Library’s Annual Associates Dinner has been postponed until the Fall of 2020. We hope to see you there!
In the meantime, please see below for more information about how you can support the Library throughout the year.
Donate / Get a Membership
Our patrons, donors, and Library Friends have made the Library what it is today. Please consider making a donation or signing up for a Friends Membership.
Your gifts make a difference in the lives of everyone in our community throughout the year.
Donating In-Kind Goods
Books and media in well-packed boxes with lids may be dropped off at the Library’s side entrance between January 30th and June 30th. Please ask at the Circulation Desk for a receipt.
We cannot accept magazines, textbooks, and items in poor condition.
For other donation inquiries, please email email@example.com.
By making a planned gift, you are
insuring the long-term viability and vitality of the Library. Your gift will strengthen and protect the Library’s valuable assets–not only our collection of books and reference materials but also our valued tradition of service to knowledge.
Your bequest to the Library can support what you care about the most, whether it is the building and grounds or a specific collection. Or, you can leave your gift unrestricted so we can apply it toward the areas of greatest need.
