7:00 pm - The Amphibians and Reptiles of the Hudson Valley: Migrations, Nesting, and Possible Encounters

April 23, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join Karen for another amphibian Friday Night In!  Come meet Dan Liebel a professional reptile keeper, breeder, and lecturer located in Greene county.  He will join us for a discussion on amphibians and reptiles of the Hudson Valley.  Learn about their annual migration, their nesting, and possible encounters you may have with them along the way.

Dan has been keeping and breeding reptiles for 25 years and has traveled all over New York State for 11 years giving lectures on these often misunderstood animals.  He has kept a vast array of reptiles from monitor lizards, geckos, and tegus, to turtles, large constricting snakes, venomous snakes, and even crocodilians.  He loves to share his knowledge with others in hopes to educate and instill compassion for these amazing animals.
